About us
Engineering and QA partner since 2018.
Hetz Engineering is an engineering and QA partner for embedded systems, test automation and rail technology based in Rheinfelden, Switzerland. More than 20 years of experience in test management, quality assurance and test automation – in substation automation, process automation, rail, telecommunications and financial services. We build and lead QA organisations, establish test strategies and implement test automation that keeps running after the project.

What defines us
Three things you will find in every one of our projects.
- 01
We come from testing.
More than 20 years of test management and test automation shape how we develop: testability is checked during requirements analysis, not at the test bench. We have seen many defects – our customers do not have to make them again.
- 02
Standards are tools, not paper.
IEC 61508, IEC 61850, CENELEC, ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119, ISO/IEC 17025: we know the standards from applying them and from the committees that test against them. Evidence is created in the process, not in rework.
- 03
Results that last.
Every service has a clear result: running test bench, test concept, list of measures, QA organisation with handover. We build so that your team operates it afterwards.
